Give the Gift of Making: Pottery Class Vouchers in London

Some gifts get used once and forgotten. A pottery class voucher gets remembered for years. Whether it's a birthday, an anniversary, a thank-you, or simply “I didn't know what else to get you,” a Doppiocotto gift voucher gives someone a few hours away from their phone, working with their hands, and walking away with something they made themselves.

Why a voucher makes a better gift than another object

Most gifts sit on a shelf. An experience gift becomes a memory, and in this case a memory that comes with a handmade piece of pottery to keep. It's a gift that says you thought about what someone would enjoy, not just what was easy to wrap.

Who it's perfect for

  • Someone who says they “have everything”
  • A friend going through a stressful period who needs a few unplugged hours
  • A couple looking for a different kind of date night
  • A colleague or team member as a thoughtful thank-you or leaving gift
  • Mum, for a Mother's Day she'll remember

What they'll experience

In a workshop at our working ceramics studio in Waterloo, London SE1, they'll learn the fundamentals of hand-building with stoneware clay and make their own piece from scratch, such as a coffee cup or two plates, then glaze it from Bora's palette of food-safe glazes. Sessions run for approximately two hours, are taught personally by ceramic artist Bora Cetin, and need no experience. Every piece is glazed and kiln-fired after the session and will be ready to collect in approximately 2 weeks.

The studio is a 9-minute walk from Waterloo station and a 2-minute walk from Lambeth North station, easy to reach from anywhere in London.

How the voucher works

The gift card is sent by email as a gift card code, and you can choose the date it's sent. It's redeemed at checkout on doppiocotto.com, and the recipient books their workshop through our Pottery Classes in London page. For help with booking, or for group gift ideas, email hello@doppiocotto.com.
