Christmas Pottery Workshop in London
Share
A Christmas pottery workshop is one of the few festive activities that isn't a restaurant booking, a market queue, or another round of drinks — and it produces something you actually keep.
Why Pottery Works for the Festive Season
December in London means a lot of the same few options repeated with fairy lights. A hands-on session at a working ceramics studio is a genuine change of pace — and if you paint or make something festive, you leave with a decoration, gift, or piece for the table that outlasts the season.
What's Available
- Pottery painting — decorate a mug, plate or bowl with a festive design, from £18 plus a £6 booking fee
- Hand-building — build something from scratch using the studio's slab-building technique, £55–£60
- Private group sessions — for office Christmas parties, family gatherings, or friends catching up over the holidays, groups of 2 to 8, BYOB welcome
Good For
- Office Christmas parties looking for something other than a restaurant table
- Family visiting London over the holidays
- Making your own Christmas gifts or table pieces
Timing Matters
Every piece is glazed and kiln-fired after your session — a process that takes roughly two to three weeks. If you want a piece finished in time for Christmas itself, book your session well before mid-December.
