Handmade Café & Restaurant Tableware | Espresso Cups for Coffee Shops
Doppiocotto makes handmade espresso cups, coffee cups and plates for cafés, coffee shops and restaurants. Every piece is slab-built by hand in our Waterloo studio, London SE1, by ceramic artist Bora Cetin, and our ceramics are already served daily at Sanayi 313 in Istanbul and Lief, a coffee shop and bakery in Urla.

Coffee cups designed around the drink
The Doppiocotto collection started with espresso cups, and every size is a decision, not an approximation:
- Espresso cups: 56ml, the precise volume for a single shot
- Flat white cups: 150–180ml
- Cappuccino cups: 150–200ml
Handmade stoneware has a weight, lip and surface that a moulded cup doesn't, and customers notice it the moment they pick up their coffee.
Plates and serving pieces
Alongside cups, we make dinner plates, mezze plates, milk jugs and serving pieces in the same stoneware and glazes, so your counter and tables share one consistent look.
Built for daily service
- Dense stoneware, fired to 1220–1280°C
- Food-safe glazes, dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe
