Filming & Photoshoot Location: Pottery Studio in London

Looking for a pottery studio location to hire in London? Doppiocotto's working ceramics studio in Waterloo, London SE1, is available as a location for filming, photoshoots, adverts, music videos and brand content. The studio is a 2-minute walk from Lambeth North station and a 9-minute walk from Waterloo station.

A real ceramics studio on camera

This is the working studio of ceramic artist Bora Cetin, where every Doppiocotto piece is made by hand. What you film is the real thing: clay, tools and work in progress, not a set dressed to look like a studio.

  • Workbenches with clay, tools and pieces at every stage of making
  • The kiln where every piece is bisque fired and glaze fired
  • Shelves of handmade stoneware: cups, plates, jugs and vases from the Doppiocotto collection
  • Glazes and textures that work well for close-up, product and lifestyle shots

A ceramic artist on set

Need hands in clay? Bora can work on camera as a hand model, shaping, slab-building and glazing for close-ups, so your making shots look authentic. Doppiocotto is entirely hand-built, without a pottery wheel, so the making shown is slab-building and hand-forming. Just mention it in your enquiry.

Good for

  • Adverts and brand campaigns
  • Product, editorial and lifestyle photoshoots
  • Short films, documentaries and music videos
  • Social media and online content

Props and custom pieces

Handmade ceramics from the studio can be used in shot, and custom pieces can be made for your production. See how we work with agencies on bespoke ceramics.

Hosting an event instead?

The studio can also be hired for private events, workshops and meetings for up to 20 people. See Event Space Hire.
