Kids & Family Pottery London | Children's Pottery Parties

Looking for kids' pottery or a family pottery workshop in London? Doppiocotto runs bespoke family sessions and children's parties on request at our working ceramics studio in Waterloo, London SE1, taught personally by ceramic artist Bora Cetin.

Pottery for families

Working with clay is something children and adults can enjoy together. Pottery painting is especially accessible for younger participants: everyone chooses a ready-made piece, such as a mug, plate or bowl, and decorates it with ceramic paints and glazes, with Bora on hand throughout.

Children's pottery parties

A pottery party is a creative, hands-on alternative to the usual birthday activities, and every child goes home with something they made. Sessions are arranged privately for your group, so we can shape the activity around the children's ages.

How family sessions work

  • Arranged on request, as a private session for your family or party
  • Groups of 2 to 20 people
  • Pottery painting or simple hand-building, depending on ages
  • All clay, paints, glazes, tools and aprons provided
  • You can bring your own food and drinks
  • Pieces are glazed and kiln-fired by Bora and will be ready to collect in approximately 2 weeks

Our standard public classes are for ages 16 and over, so families and children's parties are booked as private sessions.

Location

The studio is a 9-minute walk from Waterloo station and 2 minutes from Lambeth North station, close to the South Bank, a great area for a family day out in London.
